Yet another release!!

Version 6 brings stability improvements and the ICS camera (no panorama, unfortunately). Now you can also use custom boot animations and can enjoy the original audio delights from CM9/AOSP.

PS: Sadly, I am nearing the end of both mine and the ROM's abilities and little progress will be made from this point on. I would like to remove the dreaded screen capture button for one and maybe include support for other tools like openvpn, scp, bash etc. Other than that, I consider this ROM as good as I can make it.

OK guys, It's done! Version 7 is out as of now and I finished modding everything I had in mind for this stock ROM.
I won't update this ROM for anything else except bugfixes and possibly feature requests, though I have no idea what else could be included in a stock ROM except what is already in it.

I won't theme it as I hate themeing APKs, but if any of you is skilled and has the patience to do it, the ROM is already deodexed so feel free to do it.

This is being worked on at the moment and there's no ETA in sight. When it hits, we'll be of the first people to say something.

Great rom, i'm on version 7 right now. Only one issue, when I try to change the lock screen image, it does not display any options to choose from, like gallery, animated images, etc. Then preferences just closes and return to the home screen. Is there another way to change the lock screen image?

As far as the ROM goes, what you are trying to do is impossible. However, you can try either of the following workarounds:

1. Don't use a lockscreen at all. I know this might sound stupid, but it works around your issue :D
2. Use a replacement screen screen lock, maybe a more customizable one like Widgetlocker (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...etlocker&hl=en). There are also some good free ones but I love Widgetlocker, so I highly recommend it.
3. Get the two attached APK files and copy them to /system/app. Both are required. Then the original two options will become available and apply correctly. You can remove them afterwards or leave them there...

PS: this occurs due to Samsung crap programming skills. Instead of looking for a gallery provider, they specifically look for com.sec.gallery3d activities. This is bad because they have to update their settings packages EVERY time they change the gallery and vice-versa. Samsung = Good hardware & poor software. That's life...

Whats the exact difference between the 3g-kernel and the wifi-kernel? They should be identical, only a fact that using a sim is possible is different.. ?
