So I have some problems in AOKP as well.

The phone dialer keeps force closing on incoming and outgoing calls. Any solution for this? It's a deal breaker for me as I use my Tab as a phone...

Thanks.

Wait what? You fixed things, and quickly?
Is this real life?

Anyway, without the nagging little bugs your ICS build(s) runs surprisingly smooth and is very reactive. I guess, if the dialer FC is fixed, I stick with your builds.

AOKP Rom updated! Sorry no Gummy rom yet still fixing

AOKP build 38 rebuild 1 changes are: P1 device settings updated, SGT7's trebuchet, fixed phone + camera, LiveOC is now working, AOSP music layout for lockscreen, shortcuts in settings app for launchers and device settings

I'll push it to its limits and let you know what issues, if any, I find.

I really appreciate your efforts and appreciate your humble approach. And as such I'll do what I can to help you.

Edit:
Phone dialer is working. no force close.
I got this upon first boot: "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped."
It also happened after using the phone dial the first time. After that it didn't happen again. (at least not yet).
This was before I installed Gapps.
Gapps install went smooth.

Problem #1. Play Store says "Server error". Reboot solves the problem of opening it, BUT I can't download any apps. "Error <appname> could not be downloaded due to an error. (921) )

Google talk signs in fine (to ensure Gapps install went ok, and internet connection works).

Edit 2: Changing LCD density does NOT solve Play store problem. Still can not download apps.

Another small bug. When I reboot, it always reboots into recovery no matter which option I choose. I have to reboot, then reboot again from recovery to actually reboot the system.

Thanks for your help! btw best settings for LiveOC for me is (you can manage this from device settings: 125% and turning the CPU clock speed down to 1GHz no reboots yet but if you do just change the value to 120% and you should be fine

I find myself posting a lot in a row... sorry for for that.

Anyway, I reinstalled and this time installed Gapps right away (which I didn't do for some reason the first time). Now Play Store works fine.
So it seems one must install both AOKP and Gapps in one go before reboot.

PEBCAK
