I should add a setting in Advanced eventually that issues a fuel gauge reset. Usually if you pop a reset and then turn the screen off for a few minutes, it'll be right at the correct estimate of SoC. When I get home I'll pull the command for manually doing this.
Thanks for the info mate. I just found it amusing. I'll try the command if it happens again.

I have wifi on all the time. 15 minute drive from home to work is about the only time when I'm not in range of a network.

Default Fixed it for me for now

That fixed the SODs so far. I should say that I had previously gone back to 0531 ROM (which was the last non-SOD ROM for me), and that I did what I wrote below.

The only thing I can think of that is different from all the other ROM flashes that I did (all the June ROMs, all of which had SODs) is that removed the SD card and did a factory reset from within the running OS and only then went into recovery mode and full wiped both before and after flashing the new ROM.

Previously I only would go into recovery, flash ROM, and do Full Wipe.

Well, I'll see if the SODs stay away after I start installing apps again.

- Shutdown phone

- Booted phone
- Entered PIN, went to Backup and Recovery: Factory Reset
- Shutdown phone
- Inserted SD card
- Booted (during boot the factory reset did something, something blipped up briefly before the boot animation showed)
- Without going into any of the initial setup (did not enter PIN), held the power key and selected reboot and reboot into recovery
- Full wipe
- Flashed 0609
- Full wipe
- Rebooted phone
- Initial setup with simcard and PIN entered (got 3G and H+ connection) but without Google account entered: no apps installed
- Turned off BG data
- Let phone sleep
-> No SOD

Hmmm.

- Setup a wifi connection
- Connected to wifi
- Disconnected from wifi
- Let phone sleep
-> No SOD

Hmmm.

I will now leave the phone as it is over night. I'm going to bed now, it will get 6 hours or so of being left alone. BG Data is off. No apps installed.

We shall see tomorrow.

It doesn't work at my one! The internet on my note works. When I connect to my WLAN-Router it works on my Laptop.
I think the problem is on the Note.
Please help me
USB and WiFi tethering both work fine for me, my Note spends most of its time doing one or the other.

Spelling essentials:
1) There is NO SUCH WORD as "alot" - It's "a lot"
2) The shortened form of You are is You're - NOT Your
3) Loosing & Loose have completely different meanings to Losing & Lose.

If you're convinced that it's 0611, then just wipe dalvik & flash an earlier nightly.

Any future version will support SamsungTTS?
APK is a standard package, any firmware will happily install an APK even if it relies on libraries which aren't supported by that firmware, which is the case here.

Go get Ivona from the market.

If it were an issue for everyone, then the forum would explode with people whining about the fact.

I just flashed 0611 here, no issues.

Now that you flashed the latest build can you kindly check if your wifi tethering is working? Or you tested it after you flashed. I just want to know if the issue is on our side.
