Is it true that if a formatted microSD often will make it slow microSD?

It' unlikely, but possible.

My Samsung Essentials 32GB Class 10 card gave my Milestone hiccups at first (rebooted several times when powering on, rebooted every time I left USB mass storage mode) so I re-formatted it using these instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=7417

Now everything works fine and I still get a little more than 10MB/s when copying movies via USB - so no loss here.
