When can we expect new, fixed version without any bugs?

Will upload a test version of codename_ei8ht when back home.

Quote:

Download:
codename_ei8ht_test.zip

Simple changelog:
- it is a base rom, no aroma, no Xperia S apps, no beats (yet)
- downgrade to Android 2.3.4 (more stable)
- update the busybox (v1.20.1)
- PDroid app with patch included in the framework (this is awesome)
- fixed data toggle in SWM (by hansip87 of course)
- removed Supercharger & KickAssKernel
- Launcher, PowerSaver & Keyboard from Xperia Sola (i got all the system apps)
- themed Gmail & GoogleQuickSearchBox
- CRT screen off (i think already included in codename 7)
- as for performance & battery life, judge it yourself

Mission:
the bug hunt begins, so the final release will be bug free

Important:
make a backup all the stock apps that you may need such as HDMI, Livewallpaper, stock email, facebook, timescape, widgets etc as it is not included

Quote:

Instructions:
- always do a full backup
- if you are not from previous version, do a full wipe
- delete "V6_SuperCharger" & any files named "Supercharger" or "KickAssKernel" from /data
- wipe caches
- flash the rom & reboot into phone

it is recommended but not necessary, to fully charge your phone before flashing it

Nice. Can't wait. :P
Can we get the music player from sola? I find the walkman player from S pretty ugly :| (the one showed here -video forwarded to exact sec http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZyN4T...utu.be&t=4m23s)

Also since the goal of this rom is to be lightweight, shall we move to alliance lite kernel?
I mean if we don't have hdmi etc by default, what do we need the usb host support or tun/tap driver for vpn apps, or the need for external cdroms & ntfs partioned sticks/drives?

Or are there are more features we need from full version that are not included in changelog?

P.s: i really want this rom to be the perfect one. The one i can always return το when i get bored/dissapointed with other roms

EDIT: Will baseband 72 work or we shall use the well worked and tested 64? 72 worked fine for me on i-scream + miui. Wifi, cell quality, 2g + 3g and great battery life.

Sooo... i'm way to impatient. Had no choice but to try the test release in your minus eman :P
I don't know if that's the one we are supposed to get for a test so excuse me if it's not.

Voice speech settings crash the settings.
Error when trying to change wifi channels (13 from 11).
Crt animation is there but with the spare parts settings you suggest it's hidden anyway. Without those settings the animations look kinda broken.
Pdroid is not installed.

I deleted few apps, set ondemand (request to add ondemandx governor like in ics kernel version please), sio scheduler, odexed through provided zip and my phone is flying again.

I can't get online last night to update the link, sorry.

@fr33styl3r7
PDroid should be installed by default. Just flash the rom without odexing it.
SpareParts setting can be figure out yourself.
Will update the third post when the final release is out.

Edit: Every feedback or bug report are appreciated as it will help finalize the rom
