I have been on DFT for quite sometime now but i just cant take the intermittent wifi issue as well as the data cutting in and out from 1x to 3g. i also noticed that on DFT rom the GPS is off one minute it works fine next minute it shows you 3 streets over and the GPS is re routing you. Hoping for some perfect data here! Thanks for all your hard work!!!

thx a lot, it is complex but if there are new Tango ROMs there must also be cab for update from 8107 to 8733 or???

Yes you are probably right, im sure ansar is busy readying his latest version of the tango rom and will hopefully answer your question soon

its different language packs the a and b contain chinese and japanese

I also have another issue I have US Cellular as my carrier and for some reason when I leave my home area my data on my phone will not roam even with the data roam option turned on when I talked with US Cellular Tech support they wanted me to use the ##778# code to reconfig my phone with my data profile but the ## codes don't work on this romfor some reason after flashing basck to a US Cellular rom my phone data connection would roam the update data profile and prl did nothing and the ##codes don't work and also my MMS doesn't work because the rom is configured with sprint but I don't knowhow to change the MMS to us cellular unless the ## codes work is there any way to fix these issues

So have been on this rom for well over a week now and while it is a great rom, it unfortunately suffers from the same data issue as the dft freedom roms have. Other than the phone switching to 1x alot, the rom is quite stable and really good. I have no complaints. I will however say that the rate at which the data switches is less than that on the dft rom. Maybe if someone could get a rom that is unlocked and has the data issue fixed that would be the purrrrfect rom! Thanks again ansar I definitely do appreciate all your hard work. I love love love my wp7.

On a side note went to the Dave Matthews concert last week here in Cleveland and every single person I see taking pictures was with an iPhone it was seriously ridiculous! I mean EVERY single phone was an iPhone! Feels good to be different :)

I didn't know it had data issues? Dropped calls? Just wondering on my end here. Is there anything newer or updated out there like DFT as updated as Ansar. It's been a good while since Ansar's dropped in here.

I am hoping that someone can help set my mind at ease. I use to be with AT&T with a Touch Pro 2. At that time I was a rom addict and flashed a new rom about every 1-2 weeks. Upon moving to Sprint I was sad to see there was no development for the Arrive. WooHoo!!! Now there is and thank you for all involved.

I have so far read everything in the forum and one post stood out to me as I have not seen any comments on it. The post is quoted below. I remember when I started researching months ago that there was a Chevron unlock, and then it got removed or something... But I don't know all the facts.

I have everything downloaded and ready to go and the plan was to flash today, but if I can pose a question to the forum, why not. I think honestly maybe I just need someone to put this in to context. By the way, I just got a replacement phone through my warranty, so I have not yet updated to Mango. My Bootloader is still 1.25.230506.1(118490). So my questions are these.

1) Does the quoted post below and the need for U2M8107_v1.2.xap mean anything with regards to possible bricking, and what benefit would I see from doing a developers unlock, or once you do the hspl, is the phone just unlocked?

2) I see that some are having data errors, even on the DFT Rom. Has this been troublesome enough for some, that they wish they had not done the flashing?

3) How do you know if you have to downgrade your SPL using RUU_Gold_C_Sprint_WWE_1.29.563.02_Radio_1.51.00.01 _23.12W.05.06U_NoDo_Signed_by_ansar. My CURRENT VERSION OF SPL is: 1.25.230506.1(118490)

I have tried alternate chevron method but it doesnt work for any WP7 versions with copy and paste enabled. See following:



- if your device have software version 7004-7008 you can use Chevron for unlocking

How can I get Chevron unlock, where do I get U2M8107_v1.2.xap, & what is proper deployment procedure?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Can anyone address the following:

1) Network data error on boot
2) Only open wifi network connecting, cant connect to secure wireless.
3) Bluetooth will not stay on after pairing.
4) When using wired headset, volume is very low & cant be increased. Headset is useless for calls. Works fine with music.
