Default Q: ICS rom causing phone to boot in safe mode

So I bought a new Fascinate dirt cheap off of Craigslist for $30 because the volume rocker is messed up(pain in the ass but I can still access download mode and recovery after a few tries).

I am currently running CM7 with no problem but have slowly realized how inferior it is in comparison to ICS. My problem is every time I load an ICS from my phone boots into safe mode. I have tried 3 different builds of aokp, JTs from, skangalang, and a few others but nothing works.

Anyone have any suggestions?

You need to give us a lot more information. Installation steps, what you might be doing when it does it, settings, etc.

Have you taken the battery out for a minute and pressed the power button 10-15 times to ensure a full discharge?

Do you happen t!o have a screen protector, are you in a low signal area, or are you touching the menu button as the phone turns on?

I am doing the standard steps.

1. Odin eh03
2. Odin CWM3
3. Root
4. Odin CWM4
5. Flash JTs build 2
6. Flash AOKP

If I follow the same steps but switch out JTs ICS build with CM7 I am fine. If I flash any ICS rom I boot into safe mode.

Probably too late, but steps 2 and 3 are unnecessary.

I flash Teamhacksung Build 1 instead of JT's build 2, whatever that is.
Devices:
Helly Beaned Fascinate
CyanogenMod-Equipped Galaxy Tab 2 10.1

Having trouble with the Fascinate? Check out Droidstyle's awesome guide here.

Same thing except build 2 is newer than build 1.

If you're having trouble with build 2, try starting with build 1.
