Hi all!

Any idea on how to backup my wifi networks (names and passwords) on cm7 and put them back on cm9 after doing the upgrade?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards

Great news, which is the new release date?

Go here: http://www.xda-developers.com/
and look at the top of the page.
You can see there:
1. the number of registered users /its well over 4 millions by now/
2. the number of users online now /around 40 000 by now/.
Sometimes I think I might ask admins to add:
3. the number of posts asking for ETA /I guess it would be around 4 billion/
4. the number of DO NOT ASK FOR ETAs answers /cca 4 zillion, adding +1 now/

Why don't you extract them from the ROM? they're in system/media/wallpaper if i'm not mistaken
Seems i am mistaken, my apologies :)
/system/app/cmwallpapers.apk is the one you want i think

Thanks i tryed to install it but it´s not possible :s so i don´t know how to obtain them! thanks anyway! i hope someone can upload them ;)

You can open the apk with winzip or 7zip or something like that and extract the images that way and put them on your own phone, just select a wallpaper from the gallery or filemanager.
(that should work for static images, for live wallpapers, i don't know)

Battery drain - again

I'm noticed the next:

Sometime start the battery drain: in standby 3%/hour. I restart the pone. Nothing changed. I power off the phone, then power on. The battery using is normal: in standby 1%/hour! Why not solve this the restart, why solve the power off and power on?

    MiniCM9 Visuals

    MiniCM9 Theme:

    MiniCM9 theme, is the valid successor for MiniCM6 and MiniCM7 legacy.
    It is designed as close as possible to the original specs of ICS, in order to be a lightweight, beautiful alternative to the stock theme. However it is tweaked in several parts of the UI, in order to fit better to our small device's screen.

    Tips to make things faster

    * You want to overclock as much as you device can handle. ICS requires more juice to run.
    * Remove / Freeze system apps that you don't need, especially DSP Manager
    * Install only apps that you need, don't bloat your system
    * Consider using a swap partition / file if you got a fast sdcard. Swap will give more memory for the hungry ICS to consume
    * Using Zram (Compcache) and KSM is also suggested as they will give you a tad more RAM for your apps. Note that they might also reduce battery life since they require CPU cycles.
    * Trebuchet is beautiful but a bit on the laggy side yet. Consider installing another launcher from the market like Apex.

    Don't report bugs if you are using thirdparty tools that claim to be boosting the performance (Supercharger, RAM Manager, etc.)

    Components

    ### Built from sources
    * libaudio
    * libgralloc
    * hwcomposer
    * libsensors
    * liblight
    * fm Radio
    * camerahal
    * libcamera
    * bluetooth

    ### Done
    * HW Video encoder/decoder

    Performance
    MiniCM9 along with the nAa-ics kernel, includes some interesting performance improvement points:
    • System -> Performance -> Processor -> CPU governor and frequency --> SmartassV2 is suggested. Overclocking can be set as higher as your device can take
    • System -> Performance -> Processor -> Undervolting --> Enable this to get better battery life
    • System -> Performance -> Memory management -> zRam (Compcache) --> By default this is set to 18% in order to provide more physical memory (RAM)
    • System -> Performance -> Kernel samepage merging -> Enable this to get smaller memory footprint due to memory sharing among apps (Note that this might increase battery consumption)
