I try to install new version of ROM. WI-FI work, but to slow for everyday use. Be wait for new release and optimal work.
Maybe you need to change kernel of something else.

I have been using this new build since yesterday ...don't find it slow ....overclock CPU to 700 and disable surface ditcher

I have tried installing this ROM thrice but am not able to get passed the Touch the Android screen. I have tried killing it but it pops up again and again, only the first time when I kill it, it asks me to select the action, if I select Setup wizard, again the screen appears and if I select default.provision.android, I get to select the location settings and after that again the same screen appears . Please help me out.

Have u wiped data and cache? If you did try,look some posts ago because you might be having CPU overclock issue. You'll find the patch to load

I know that happens sometimes...in that case press and hold the back button...it will ask you do you want to enable killing of app on long pressing back....enable it...u can later disable it in the development section of settings!!

Wipe data and cache after install? No, I wiped everything according to the first post and then flashed the ROM at last. Although I can access the Dialer and messages via the lockscreen and the ROM is not very sluggish or something, so I don't believe that this can be a CPU overclock issue, but to rule out the possibility, I will try the patch and post the results.

Update : Still doesn't work after installing the patch.

Ok...once you install the rom....and it asks you to select setup wizard or the other one...wait...for a minute atleast...preferably till the screen times out.....after that select setup wizard....and go through the steps....be patient as I notices set up is always laggy....after u complete setup...setup will start again...this time when asked to login...press skip.....then when you press next in the location setting...it will ask to force close press force close and an done

EDIT : Did it Work ?

No, it still doesn't work. As soon as I select Setup Wizard, it asks me to touch the android to begin, but it does not move to the next step even after I touch the android and there is a little movement in the android figure.

EDIT : Let me install Release 2 and then upgrade to 2.1 . I will post the results within an hour.
