You all have a high chance of hard bricking your devices if you attempt to unlock BL.

If your simlock-certificate is ok then you're perfectly safe.
Warnings are about devices built after year 11, week 29

No, sim-unlock and bootloader-unlock are not the same thing
to sim-unlock your phone, use software like omnius, or get an Emma/IMEI-code from your provider.

Is omnius free ? And if I choose unlock bootloader in omnius it says he will sim unlock it in the process, will he do it or i need to sim unlock every time I flash a new ROM ?

I tried omnius and it turns out I need to pay for it, is there a way to get it for free ?

Step 0: (Must Follow)

A) Post your Questions in Q&A Thread. Not in Developer Thread
B) Post your Request in General Thread. Not in Developer Thread

Step 1: (Downloads)

A) Download Flash Tool : From http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920746 or http://www.multiupload.com/GYL7A7XQBT
B) Download S1tool : From http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...0&postcount=26
C) Download Unlocker : From http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...77&postcount=3

Step 2: (Prepare)

A) Unzip all downloaded files
B) Shut Down Phone
C) Open S1tool, Click on DO JOB, Press Back on phone, Connect it to PC.
D) Look For Line "XXXX SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE"

Step 3: (Unlock)

A) Turn the phone on, Connect it with PC in Debugging mode.
B) if XXXX is "NOT RECOGNIZED" then sorry, it can't be unlocked.
C) if XXXX is SEMC then run "msm7227_semc.cmd"
D) if "XXXX SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE" was not found then run "msm7227_Setool2.cmd"
E) Wait...
F) if "Press any key to continue . . ." is found, press any key.

Step 4: (Verify)

A) Shut Down Phone
B) Open S1tool, Click on DO JOB, Press Back on phone, Connect it to PC.
C) Look For Line RUNNING S1_EROM VER "x8A029"
D) if x is "r" then it is done, Congrats...
E) if x is "R" then Sorry, Do everything again. or Search in the Frorum for Help

[My phone was stolen just 1 day after I Unlocked. I couldn't even try any new ROM with new kernel. Can't help you guys. Ask SpyderX, he is my guide. I always find him answering the questions I intended to ask. Just use some searching.]
