I finally got around to 2-toning my phones. i don't use cases anymore due to them making these slim phones feel waaaaay to bulky. they look way better now in my opinion.
Looks very nice sir I'm sure it is way easier than taking apart old school flip phones those ribbons wound up in the spring in the flip hinge were always a pain In butt mite have to give this a try
For wakelock issue it is best to take a dump from bbs and bring it to the known battery drain thread.
Fyi, I get more than 20% diff in my battery life from my office (crappy coverage) even when I use less.

I have been following that thread for a while now. I'll grab a log once I flash back to AOKP. Just as a test, restored Serendipity and only dropped %15 over 9 hours with my usual usage... Totally dislike the Sammy crap, mikeymike did a great job of removing most of it, but I miss the tweeks that AOSP brings to the table.
condensed version > llama has simpler interface, but tasker is much more powerful. The interface is not as intuitive, but once you "get it", you can do almost anything with it.
Not knocking llama, I haven't tried it. Probably works fine, worth trying to see if it works for you, since free. If not then go get tasker. MyProfiles is another app, more of a click and apply type profile app, ie simpler, predefined profiles ie online/offline/dock, or you can build custom ones. It lacks the wifi detection that I needed afaik, but does support cell detection.
Honestly, if I had realized llama had the wifi detection, I would have probably grabbed it first also. Still, tasker is only $5 and well worth it imo.
Some other profiles I've added...wifi control based on home cell towers, muting phone when meeting scheduled in calender, etc... there's a whole wiki setup with examples
