The 12th? I've only heard the 18th (which is when mine should be shipped) and the 21st.

Fact: Never trust estimated delivery date on an item that is not even in stock yet.

We can hope for the best.
Good luck, guys!
I'm hoping the corporate ATT store will have them in stock on Sunday the 17th.
ATT subscriber.

HTC One X vs. Galaxy S III.
Two weeks of personal opinion testing.
So far it's a runaway lead for the........

I'm just repeating what I was told by the CS Rep. They set up a callback on the 12th to confirm the exactshipping date as I'm retaining my grandfathered unimited data plan.

Believe me, I'm always wary of precise shipping dates given AT&T's history.

This may be the case with att but I dont think it is the case with tmobile (unless the chat rep i talked to 2 months ago was incorrect, which is entirely possible). I was looking to buy a phone off craigslist and adding a line, they told me they wouldnt force data on the line. Just my 2 cents, YMMV

I think that pricing is speculation, they dont have a source for the article and i havent found pricing info anywhere else.

What i plan on doing is selling my Amaze (it's mint, i should be able to make about 300 or so on it), adding a line to my account for the gs3, getting the subsidized price, and cancelling the line for 200. If the cost of the phone subsidized is 199, then i should be able to get out spending about 150-200 as i dont have to pay for activation fees.

But... they quoted the wrong GPU...and microSD capacity...and says that it"s coming with a whole host of Verizon services. Are you sure you want to trust this source?

Well maybe no more US subsidized upgrades for us. Will lose UL MediaNet Data. We don't use much anyway. Seems silly to pay $50 a month for less than 1 GB of data use combined on two phones and silly to worry about losing UL data as well in that case.

If ATT had a 1 GB $15 data plan I would use it.

I am guessing ATT will soon flag "dumb phone" users that are using a lot of data on the dumb phone plan.

GSM arena also has it listed as Pentaband for the T-Mo US model. it could be wrong on their end as well, not sure.

Well, as I thought, my callback was pushed forward to to this Saturday, the
16th!

I had to call AT&T myself yesterday, the 12th, which was the date that they said that they would call me. The Rep I spoke with was profusely apologetic & said that she noted the incident of my not being called back "very hard" in my account notes.

Oh well, we'll see what happens on the 16th...

So, everybody getting stoked to get their S3?

I'm going to ATT on the 21st in the morning to see if I can exchange my HTC OneX for one (I got it earlier this week). This phone is better than what I expected, but the lack of SD slot makes it useless.

Go to ATT to keep your unlimited data. Otherwise, you will lose it. The reps in store can keep it for you!
