Did you open SU, go to options and update the SU binaries? Even if it says up to date, ckcik update anyways. Reboot, then try TI again.

With this firmware version the last update of a "simple method" works normally. It is checked.

Try the following:
1. To make hardreset and rooting again.
2. To reinstall Titanium Backup. Probably other version.

I just picked one of these up last week. It's been hard not rooting it but it seems like all the new ones with the ICS update already on it are not rooting by the majority of the messages. Has anyone had any luck with a new A100 from the past couple of weeks to be able to root? I don't need a brick.... thanks!

My newest version of ICS .037, like above, re-rooted fine with ZN's script. I doubt you'll brick, it just won't root, if it doesn't work.
