Found a small tweak I'd like to share, if you use your S5 as a wifi-only tablet.

Create a value in build.prop:

ro.telephony.disable-call=true

to change the phone shortcut on the app bar into an email shortcut!

You must be rooted of course to change it

I'm just havin ha quick look on it. I found that this actually happens but it's one of the stage widgets that does not like CM7. I removed all widgets and now the launcher is working. Now I'm putting them back in one by one until it fails... Ill report back later.

I'ts the music widget, but i've seen some kind of fix in the OP that i'll install now to see if it's doing the trick.

The music widget doesnt work on 4xx to begin with, it might be how the music app changed from 2.2.x -> 2.3.x

Sorry, shame on me, ... but i can confirm that everything else is just fine. Wow, I didn't know i liked that stageUI so much.

EDIT: Okay, it totally works with the stock 351 musik apk from the OP. And damn, i like it today. This is a rooted, custom romed, stockish-looking streak. How cool is that? Let me have a look if i already klicked the THANKS-Button...

Next edit: Okay, now i have to admit i was a bit too enthusiastic. Next problem is i cannot open Emails from the Email Widget, guess im gonna read the thread from the beginning now...

Not hugely surprised if the 3xx music app makes the music widget work on 4xx.
But I'd much rather modify the 4xx one to make it work then tell users to use the 3xx one as there's bound to be more changes from 2.2.x -> 2.3.x for it.


The email one might be an issue on your device/rom then, as email works fine without modifications

I can't understand if I use custom based on GB what files I must flash? StageUI, additional files for 306 and additional files for 407 or only StageUI and additional files for 407?

Well, I'd try to install it on DSC 1.0 with and without support files for 360. And result is the same - there is no Phone application in application's list and phone button on main screen didn't worked (support files for 407 were installed)

I flashed StageUI 1.6 on DSC 1.1 with support files (407 support files v1 & Music.apk v1).
Music StageUI widget worked but phone button on home screen didn't worked.
Could anyone please take a look on it? Thanks!

You need to use a modded contacts.apk, the 407 support one should work on DSC, but I cant gaurentee that it will so make a back up first.
