My X8 is on PrimeHD 9.0 Rom (Stock Kernel) by HAKA. How do I partition my sd-card (4GB Class 4) to ext4 and use it. ROM has naive app2sd installed.

Backup your SD card contents as partitoning will delete them.

Then, boot into CWM recovery, navigate to Advanced --> Partition SD card and select your options. Then wait till SD card is successfully partitioned. Afterwards, copy back your SD card contents. If a2sd still hasn't be activated, activate the script with:

su

a2sd

where you'll see a list of commands. One will format the ext partition to ext4 if you haven't done so (I think CWM formats to ext3). Activate a2sd by typing in

su

a2sd install

y/n (your choice)

y

First boot after a2sd will take a long time.

What do you mean? You mean a ROM in progress of fixing? It's called [DEV].

Nope... I am sorry but dont even bother to try. It will surely brick your phone. Unless you are willing to pay for a software that can unlock phones past 11w28, tell me and I will point you in the right direction.

[DEV] is short for development.
