1) Is it possible to give the user the option to enable or disable the shutter sound on video recording?
2) have you tested this mod with stock kernel or the gueste one?
because I noticed luggy videos at 720p/high quality (stock kernel). If stock kernel cannot handle these higher bitrates like 15mbps then you should consider a mod with lower steps like 4-8-15 for 720p.
3)Are you going to release a 2nd version with no quality improvements like like you did with 20q?

1) Sorry, not possible (at least for me).
2) I use the guestekrnL-FlixEdition and I've no problems.
3) You can use V20q stock mod with V20s, too. I found out, that it should be nearly the same.

Flix, congratulations for the new camera mod.
already it had used some cameras and none stayed so good as this.
I, at least had problems as to choke the video during the recording, then I had that to record in 720P.
now I record without problems in 1080@, 30 fps with a very good quality.
we have that to be thankful you for the excellent work.

Doesn't work for me.

LG Optimus 2X with CM7.2.0

It says "The Application Camera (process com.sec.android.app.camera) has stopped unexpectedly"

I already tried wiping dalvik cache, rebooted several times too.

The stock camera that was with the rom doesn't work either. I can press it, but nothing happens.

What to do now?

The mod isn't compatible with CM!

If replacing the camera apk with the stock one doesn't work, reinstall the rom.

Oh okay.

I managed to find the original camera.apk file and install it on the phone again, so got it working again.

guyz can anyone tell me why my video is laggy ....

everytime i am recording video it suddenly slow down like in slow motion ...

at GuesteOC 2.1.5 by Myrt The Settings are defaults
my I/O are at 2048 with deadline
Comcache enabled at 50 swappiness
