How do I copy and rename the files?

Hi, Is there a thread / guide anywhere as to how to rename and copy the files required for this mod. I am NOOB and can't work out out to access System do to the copies and renames required to install this... I've rooted my phone etc, no problems, but am struggling to work out how to access the protected files / directories.

You need ADB, or a file explorer like the one mentioned in the guide.

How to install and use ADB

Once you've gotten ADB installed just run these commands in CMD:

ADB remount

ADB pull /system/app/SecLauncher2.apk C:/APKtool

Then just make a backup of your SecLauncher2.apk file in your APKTool folder and rename it to Launcher.apk

touchwiz stopped working

hi bruv i did not see this thread im using omega 5.1 and from the omega kitchen app i downloaded and flashed the touchwiz mod and did not make a backup of seclauncher. now it keeps prompting me touchwiz home stopped working and i have to restart the phone. i tried reinstalling the rom but problem still exist. i made a thread in q&a before i found your thread.

i've a question about this mods.

i'm using "SecLauncher2_4x6-5x6_SCR-off.apk" since a few weeks. every time when i update the firmware (omega) i 've to exchange the mod apk in /system/app.

the size of the widgets (mp3player) are changing anytime. normaly is 4x1, but sometime is 3x1 and this is annoying. is too small, i don't know why this happen.

any fix or idea where the problem can be?

cause 3x1 doesn't fit with any mod??!

I too have the same problem.. really annoying.. hope there's a fix soon..
