earphone/headphone

im wondering why i couldnt listen to music properly with normal headphone/earphone, i dont have any sony ericsson with me at the moment to try, im currently using mini pro, im guessing it has to be the sony earphone?
i had the x10 one and i know the earphone there, but my x10 doesnt have issue with other headphone/earphone?
anyone experience the same problems?

I have used my X10MP absolutely fine with loads of headphones. I almost never use the SE ones and currently I use some sennheiser MX-300s really good and about £6

What ROM are you on? I have used these on stock slade's froyo and gb owain's froyo and gb gingerDX Gintonic miniCM7 and miniCM9 (that I remember) kernels being stock, D4Kernel, zombiepanic, nAa-11 and nAa-ICS.

Should work fine. weird. still if you're still on stock now's the time to go custom unlocked BL super-stable ROMs and other stuff next week ish XMP V14 should come out and I engineered that to be super-stable and TM21 has added the stock UI so it won't be too much of a change cept Gingerbread and nAa-11

I have the same problem, my phone recognize only original SE earphones...i can't use any other than ones that i got with my phone?! x10MP(u20i)

i bought a pair of philips earphones, they are much better than the sony earphones. give better quality sound.
