Guys, whoever in this thread deserve an applause. Thanks for everyone.

@Varun, if you know how to get boot.img file (without rooting), please tell us. We are eager to help to our maximum extent.
So far, the status is
adb drivers are available. (i think, it is working for XP only).
Some other files uploaded (dump file & others are available).
Rooting with many software failed
With this what can we do to root this phone?

PS: Please whenever you tell about a software, OS , driver please mention what is verison number/ OS name etc clearly..

Anyways our device is MT6516 so your method is not useful for us.

New Karbonn A9 (2.3.6) Root Method needed

Hello, I have brand new Karbonn A9 with android 2.3.6. The following root method does not work on new Karbonn A9, I tried many times but it says permission denied. In Karbonn A9 system/bin/ and system/app/ is read only permission by default. How to change read only permission to write permission ?
"Root with Motofail" does not work.
I request you for unbeatable method for rooting Karbonn A9. Thanks in Advance.

Absolutely correct !!!! Lol ...!!!

So, we keep on hunting for some other method till we succeed or can we hope something if Spice releases ICS for its phone, certainly it will come with a programme or an online option to download the package.

I request you all to keep the good spirit running, btw, 3 days on and still 45% battery left. Unrooted gives you so much juice, I wonder when rooted how good the things would be!
