Welcome to the wonders of the English Language

actually he does kind of have a point

"Find all thanked posts by xxxx"

It does suggest that it is going to show you all the posts that have been thanked BY that person

Of course if you change the context a bit it means something different but I guess as he pointed out the literal meaning is a bit inaccurate

Don't you just love English, words have a different meaning depending on which way the wind blows

I don't know of any way to tell which posts you thanked, but in the XDA app on the phone you can tap More, Profile and scroll down to see total thanks which is the number of times you have thanked people, followed by the same number of thanks you see in your profile on the website.

Not that thanks are an indication of a user's status or stature on XDA. Some of the most important people here have a lot fewer thanks than you might guess.
Here's the official announcement for your reference.

Then, the Thanks meter, placed above the avatar, keeps a count of how many times a user has been Thanked. The meter gets more difficult to increase as it gets shaded in. For example, to go from 1 to 2 thanks “bars” is much more easy than going from 2 to 3 bars. To achieve 10/10 bars, you must be thanked 10,000 times. We might adjust this scale, but we have the feeling that some XDA members might get to 10 bars in just a few months.

Just to let you know, here is the guy with the highest thanks/post received in the XDA (15365 thanks received per 1387post). A record I think.

He was referring to thanks-to-post ratio, not total thanks.

Think-Search-Discuss, not the other way around. Hit the Thanks button if I helped you. My PM is not personal prioritised support/help.

Whoops, misread it. It seems even more impressive now that I've taken a look at his started threads. He's only made a few ROMs for relatively unpopular devices (especially compared to mike) and yet he's got 15K thanks? Those must be some absolutely AMAZING ROMs
