That probably has something to do with the density you set the screen to as well. I know that if you try to push it too high, it will cause some apps to crash. I have only changed it to 130dpi whic is lower than it's standard 160dpi. The lower the dpi the smaller objecys on the screen will appear such as icons and widgets. Setting it lower like I do gives me more screen real estate to play with. While I don't have every app available installed on my tab, I currently have 88 apps from the "play store" installed and have never had an issue with the lower dpi causing problems with an app or app's. The only negitive is Googles insistance that the hardware specs of the tab match what they have onfile for the model number the tab identifies itself as. LCD Density Modder Pro has a fix for that but the fix can only be made permanent for ICS. With Honeycomb you have to uninstall the fix about once a week which returns the play store app back to the stock one, reboot, clear the settings and cache for the play store app, reboot, load the market, look at the listing of the apps you are supposed to have installed and if the number of apps is correct then you can the reinstall the fix. If it is still not correct then another reboot is required. I have had to do up to 3 reboots before it was recognizing the proper number of apps. It usually is 88 but goes down to 55 when the play store realizes my screens dpi is not set to 160. I guess Google feels that those 33 apps won't work at 130dpi but they all work just fine. In any case, having to do that once a week is a bit of a pain but I fell it is worth it. This tab is so much better at that dpi (at least I think it is).
Sorry this seemed slightly off topic. It really isn't though. I had been referring to how ADW EX gives you an added set of buttons at the top of the screen in this lower resolution. It is almost as if 130dpi is the ideal dpi for this tab and not 160.
