They never said it was coming out in May. They said in the " coming weeks". This gives them a great deal of latitude since that could mean a couple of weeks or more. Just because it has been a month or two doesn't mean that the coming weeks is wrong because there are weeks in months. ;)

Definitely agreed with this. I'm just as disappointed as the next guy about the fact that this phone isn't out yet, but I don't think Verizon has necessarily lied at all--they were intentionally vague with "in the coming weeks" and all of the rest was largely baseless speculation. This phone hasn't technically been delayed at all; there's no one to say that this wasn't the intended release time all along.

I still think they're screwing up the release, though. They allowed the GS3 to take away too much of the spotlight. Hard to generate buzz for this one when everyone else is talking about another.

Knowing this thread is focused on the incredible, I'll keep it short, but if you aren't waiting on this phone because of the smaller screen, why are you waiting for it? Have you compared the specs of the incredible and the Rezound?

If you're going about saying what i think you are, you do know the Inc4G beats it in every way minus resolution and ppi, right?

We've been through this ten thousand times, the Rezound's processor is slower, less efficient on battery, and more prone to overheating than the Inc 4G's. They are not equivalent.

The Dinc4G beats the Rezound in every way other than screen size and PPI, as others have said. Many don't take into account the form factor either; the Dinc4G is much lighter and thinner than the Rezound, making it more portable and not so bulky. I've already preordered the S3 however so I'm not really waiting on it anymore (unless it releases this week). Its more of my backup option now if I have a problem with the S3.

The bulk factor is the one thing that stopped me from being interested in the Rezound. I loved the design of the device, but it's just way too thick and heavy. HTC's decision to make the Inc 4G as close as possible to the Incredible in form factor was a good one.

Could also be for the S3, but still a good sign nonetheless. Just don't get too excited, Verizon can change their plans for releease at any given moment.
