Why would anyone have more than one pen? Donating a $50 pen just to get pen functionality on ICS is pretty extreme. I mean, I use ICS every day on my E4GT and although its nice, it's not worlds better than GB.

Really best solution if a dev really wants to develop for the pen is to buy one and return it or just wait on a dev who has one.

Also does anybody know if we could get pre-paid plan for mobile on this devices? I would rather not sign a 2 year contract with Sprint just to work this.
Very interested in using the ICS ROM. I am currently using a custom HC ROM and have 3G/4G with Sprint running on this tablet. Once you have all the other things ironed out, I don't mind installing the ROM and testing 3G/4G functionality.

Not sure what you need me to do, in terms of reporting findings etc, but willing to help in anyway I can.

If he doesnt have a pen, hes not gonna go out of his way to buy one and return it just to work on functionality for the rom if the pen will benefit only a tiny segment of the userbase.

We dont even have a stabe release yet, pen function should be the least of the worries. No need to expect the dev to out of his way for a function he doesnt have to work on.

How do you know what a dev will or will not do? I can pretty much assure you no one will donate a $50 pen. If they had "extras" I guess they might but what possible reason could someone have for owning more than one pen?

One crazy thought is that a dev could buy a pen and then keep it and use it as a pen. I know, nuts right? :)

Again, why would the dev buy a pen just for your request. Obviously he doesnt want/need one or he would have had one already.

If you want pen support that badly then let him borrow your.

One crazy thought is developing your own rom and pen functionaliy. I know, crazy right.

The dev already addressed the pen and 3g support situations. Sounds like you dont like to be told "NO".

I thought mitchellvii had learned his lesson about his sense of entitlement after the whole DeSensed Honeycomb fiasco, but I guess not.

** NEWS FLASH **

wyldkard and freak4dell apparently do not own pens and have declared for the rest of us that pen support is therefore unimportant. In that spirit I would like to declare that the OP should avoid any development work on Netflix support as I do not have a Netflix account.

Thank-you.

P.S., OP, we know you are doing all you can to make this work. Appreciate all your efforts

the point is not that certain members do not own a pen. the point is that the dev does not own a pen so unless you can contribute some way in actually getting it to work then stop complaining. In the same sense if the dev does not have netflix we cant expect the dev to get netflix working either. The dev is doing this for FREE and on his own time, so be happy with any taste of ICS we get. Again I just want to thank you ync
