Yea i thought so because i see a change in the screens picture performance, increased brightness and other subtle changes. Then flash faux or franco and its gone.

How come theres no modules file like with other devs kernels, is it included in boot.img ?.

So would flashing faux or other kernels loose this update, are there any other changes possibly ? As i said i notice a change in the picture performance.

You need to flash repacked kernel for my ROM.

I flashed the new ROM 7.0.0 without flashing new boot and it worked find.
and I just found out that GPS problem has been solved in 7.0.0 this is amazing
Device: HTC One X
ROM: stock, but rooted
Kernel: stock
Recovery: ClockworkMod Touch Recovery
