I am clearly doing something wrong. I've tried all day at work to get this (0.4) to boot, but it gets in to a boot loop.
I am coming from a version of MeanROM. I go into recovery, wipe everything but SD card, install new ROM .zip, wipe again. It won't boot. Thought maybe it was a bad download, so I did it again. Same thing. Even tried that .zip that was posted for people with boot problems. Also tried pulling the battery after flashing... nothing works.
What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
What are you wiping after flashing the Rom?
I usually use 4ext recovery in Tools, Wipe or Format ->EXT4, wipe all of them

Don't wipe after flashing the ROM, no need. Don't know if that is the problem or not. (you mean wiping cache and dalvik, I assume?)

wiping after installing new ROM sounds like the problem..

Flash Rom then gapps in same session
Done!!
Usually under the Wipe/Format menu I hit the Wipe All Partitions (Except SD Card)
I'll try your idea, and report back. Thanks
EDIT: Now it just keeps me at the white HTC screen...
EDIT #2: I have wiped everything, then flashed ROM and then flashed the fix posted earlier today... I get to the CM9 flash screen, but then immediately restarts... boot loop

I can't speak for the boot loops yet, but I can tell you one thing... I just watched a video of my daughter hunting easter eggs in 3D from YouTube. Now, there were some tricks I had to pull, but the core framework is doing it's job, and I got 3D rendering. So we're close to that, too. That's a fathers day gift to me.

This is a phenomenal job. I flashed the latest version and everything is working as stated. Thanks a lot for the hard work.
