Hey barnacles, I noticed that cm9 implemented some changes in the mms code. Do you plan on implementing those?

Yeah I'm hoping to get around to updating the app asap as well as fulfilling a few requests I've had as soon as possible.

Can someone please post a link to a tutorial on how to install this, doesn’t have to be this exact app, but just to give an idea how to move this using adb or root explorer, greatly appreciated.

I'm still a novice when it comes to moving into system/app, I read everything three times before actually doing it, this is just one of those things I don’t have down yet.

download the app, put it on you sdcard, open root explorer and copy the app, then go back one, go into "system" then "app" on the top of the screen there is a button that says "mount r/w", tap that, and paste. Now you need to long press on the app and change the permissions, you want them to match the rest of the system apps. If you long press on any apps, a menu will come up with permissions.

Thats exactly what I did with es file explorer, I copied it to system/app and changed the permisions, its no where to be found. and what about my current mms app, arent we supposed to disable it or rename it???
