if u just want the answer to smoothest then OPERA is the clear winner.
but if u want functionality the Dolphin and Marine Browsers are just perfect speed and performance and options.

I've never been a fan of Firefox but it runs surprisingly well on CM7. I live out in BFE and every other browser I've tried takes a while to even load up a page. Firefox is extremely smooth and loads web pages almost instantly for me.

The new dolphin hd beta with dolphin engine is pretty damn fast, but I found it a little unstable. I'm using the standard dolphin after doing the rounds with pretty much everything else out there. I liked opera, it used to be necessary, but with dual core hardware and the acres of RAM the atrix has, I don't think there is any need for light browsers anymore.

I just have one big issue with dolphin in that they fill your add on bar with spam add ons. I have no desire for dolphins battery saver add on yet the only way to get it out of the way is to install it and disable it. I am not impressed, dolphin is seriously a good browser though, I always seem to come back to it.

Firefox is great because you can sync tabs and history with your desktop. This is why I am a fan of Firefox.
