It was being mounted and detected in the ROM but I was not able to mount it on the recovery. It seems it is not read during boot up and it only gets mounted when the ROM is loaded. I tried reformatting it using the Windows format tool but it still didn't fix it. I was able to use the SD Formatted application to fix the problem. The microSD to internal storage mod is now working. I'm back using the Green ICS ROM. Thanks again for the help and suggestions.
