Default Using Tape

If you just put tape on the strips you are probably screwed already.

Samsung figured that people may do this and what you dont know until its too late is, that the strip on the phone has a glossy cover on it already. It actually looks like tape. The problem is that when you pull off your tape it takes that surface off and leaves you with a fuzzy strip, white but fuzzy.
Fuzzy = tampering = no warrentee!

The fix is that when your strip is new and glossy, just take a small piece of paper just big enough to cover the strip. Then apply your tape.
Problem solved!!!

Now if you have to return the unit the strip will be in perfect shape.

If you already put tape over the strip, hope may not be lost. Carefully start to roll back your tape, keeping it flat against the surface (like you would if pulling painters tape off). You may get lucky and have the orig surface stay on. If you just pull the tape off at an angle it will almost certainly be removed.

Good luck
