Well, I tried this for you:
- On my home wifi-network: "forget network".
- Logged in again, entering the password.
Working fine.
Is that what you mean with "from scratch"?

I've been talking about this application earlier but I've been ignored... anyway does it show the mA current correctly cause for me not on any rom since I've moved to sg s2 and it use to work perfectly on my exhtc hd2. I tried almost all roms and kernels and still the same including apps like battery monitor widget or current widget. Haven't tried though the last version of this rom

More like using the down right option on the wifi screen add network, type anything as network id and save. Might work if not wiped before the install?

Yes it shows mA curent also and works perfectly with RR 2.4 with no ads

WiFi working fine on 2.3,2.4 and both installed without Data wipe too..

Didn't even try the wifi this way on 2.3, since I don't use it..were just asked to test that way, it to confirm if I had the same problem. seems like not everyone is affected my it then..even stranger!?
