[Solved][Q] Hero not running 3G after transfering to another account.

I just upgraded and gave my Hero to my son who is on his dad's account. Before I had his dad call in the transfer I flashed the Hero back to stock. The transfer is completed but the phone only shows Ev. The phone had been rooted and flashed several, several times before and the img I used to go back to the stock ROM is one I used a few times to get my phone back to working order when flashes went poorly so I know the ROM is good. And it had 3G in this area when I was using it 2 weeks ago. I have tried profile updates, PRL updates, checking for firmware and software updates and nothing is getting that 3G going Unfortunately since it's not my account I can't call in to trouble shoot and his dad is about 3 hours away. Does anyone have any ideas?

Ev is 3G. 1x is 2G. His phone should be fine.

Oh wow...I feel so dumb now! Once I read that I remembered that "3G" didn't show on the stock ROM. I swear I'm not a blond LOL
