Dr.ketan

Thanks for your contribution to this forum. I have one question.
I install LQ3, and manage to root it. BUT I CAN'T INSTALL CWM!

I use pc odin to flash LQ3
use recovery, update zip CWM, install BusyBox... now i have root
install mobile odin, and flash CWM for LQ3 and then the SUPER SU downgrades to an older version (from 0.91 to 0.90) and I lose root rights. I open CWM and it fails to initiate.

I hope you understand me, and will help me fix it

Default Differences between 2 version of 4.0.3 ROMS

Fellows, I'm a Brazilian user, and I'm using the ICS at my SGN.

Actually, I'm using this version: N7000JPLPD_N7000OJPLP7_MID
Now, we have the Brazilian update: N7000UBLPD_N7000ZVVLP2

What is the difference between these two versions? If there none important thing, I'll keep the first one.

Thanks!

Though it is not same as you are having but, newer GB ROM for your country. You can flash that in case you are not happy with ICS.
If you want to backup your existing ROM, you need to have Root + CWM
Thank you dr.ketan. I have successfully downloaded the new stock ROM you suggested.

Indeed, once university obligations have been fulfilled, I will root my device.
After rooting, I will backup up my current, pre-installed stock ROM (N7000XXKKA) using CWM.
If I need to unroot for warranty purposes, I will flash the new stock ROM (N7000XXLA6).
Once I need to root again, I will flash my backup copy of the rooted N7000XXKKA.

I suppose my above steps are appropriate?

No you can't. B'coz without root you won't restore
Yo have to root it again, yes you can restore data after that with backup copy.
