im 19062012 official nightly. i see cdesai merge gpu oc patch but antutu cpu master
doesnt allow me to oc gpu.how can i oc the gpu ?

also announcing antutu scores. I could reach upto 3336 once, but noticed some of us could reach even higher scores but how??

I ma at 3,800 on BOCA MSI ROM (I know it's GB not ICS...) without pushing much (Didn't overclock the GPU or the bus frequency)
if you want better performance, try overclock to 1.4Ghz, flash a kernel that allows yu to overclock the GPU (Humberos' kernel for instance) and even betetr try to overclock the bus freuency (20% and if you're lucky up to 25% overclock)

1400mhz reboots, i am already using Humberos kernel, because 1906 kernel already has it, :)

A couple of questions please:

1) Is it advisable to flash every new nightly build as these are probably fixing bugs found in the previous nightlys?

2) If so, for this flashing of a new nightly build image do I have to clear all data, cache and dalvik or just flash the new image?

And one suggestion, the Guide for restocking the Galaxy previous to the installation of the ICS builds has deleted the indication to wipe data, cache and dalvik as the image they use wipes all automatically. This gave me some trouble as I did not wipe them all on my first attempts. I suggest you add to the instructions to do the wipe manually so other noobs like me can do it. (or maybe it is already specified and I did not read it correctly?)

my answers would be :

1 - Nightlies are not release canditates nor stable versions but it is advisable if you want to test them - if you want a full 100% stable version, i would say it's better to wait.

2 - I always wipe cache and dalvik between nightlies to avoid risks - but no data reset which is in my opinion usefull only if you change your base system (and not for updates), but i'm no dev, only user.

Problem with video player.

Hi all i have been running CM9 for a bit now but recently i have been having problems with any video player. Every time i go into say MX it will start to load thumbnails, and then crash.

Any suggestions?

Edit: I cant even play a video and it crashes

Edit 2: Changed from smartassV2 1400 to Ondemand 1200 and i am now able to watch video.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get AOKP like compact toggles on notification? Is there any MOD for this? I wish CM9 had this customization.
