When I write the code gets me the following answers:

Type AT -> OK
Type AT% IMEI -> xxxxxxx
Type AT% IMEI -> (write the IMEI of the phone box) IMEI WRITE ERROR

What am I doing wrong? ... I have read the forum someone with the same problem but I had a write failure.

Did you put the "," between each xxxxxxx ?

I think the problem is that TUTTY can not write IMEI on the phone again and that the code is written correctly ... but not for sure because I am very green in these subjects.

It may be due to poor configuration of the phone?
It may be for XP?

What do you think?

When WRITING IMEI you MUST write commas between your IMEI digits.
35677204xxxxxxx - WRONG
3,5,6,7,7,2,0,4,x,x,x,x,x,x,x - GOOD
And do not write quotes. You need to write exactly thr same as i wrote earlier in tutorial.
You`re using Tutty or Putty? Use Putty or HyperTerminal.

after doing this there is only a black screen, no leds flash, nothing when plugged in. what should i do

hi to all. i just flash my lg whit smartflash and i put the errase entire cp option , after that i didnt get sim signal, after to may tutos and get signal, but the internet its just edge, and i all ready put my apn and not works.
i allready trie whit tutty and putty, whit and whit out commas and cuotes but nothing happens.
