Default Got Ghost Armor screen and carbon back installed.

I have been using Ghost Armor since I got my OG Evo almost two years ago. I happen to have a few malls by me that have the Kiosk and do the installs. I have had my work Blackberry's screens done and my Galaxy Tab screen as well, I happen to like Ghost Armor.

So I went to the mall to have it installed on my ET4G but they did not have the matte back in stock so I had the black carbon back installed. I like the look but I think the carbon back it a bit too smooth/slippery compared to the matte back. I am going to go back to get the matte installed, they said they would do it for free. I had the matte back installed on my Evo and really liked it. The screen part is pretty good, but there is of course a small amount of orange peel/texture, but not as much as the BSE or Inv shield has.

Here are some pics, but they are night pics using my Blackberry Torch.

I'd recommend Phantom Skinz, the cut outs are much better than these.

The fake carbon fiber look is cheesy, and it clashes with the exposed white plastic parts of the phone. Maybe you're going for that mismatched look...

No I wasn't, I wanted the matte finish for the back and sides but they didn't have it at the time and said they would order it. So they installed the black carbon and said to come back and they will put the matte on when it comes in. Called yesterday to confirm they got it and they said that for some reason they do not have the matte for the white version, just for the black version. Also said that the matte for black version will not work on white because it is made for the textured back of the black version. Very confusing and makes no sense to me, but that is what they are saying.

So now I am at a loss, my only option is to get the clear back which I really don't like. I may have them install the matte or clear sides and clear back and I may pickup the black battery door cover. I like the white version but I don't love the white battery door cover so much.

I think that looks really nice. My only question is, what kind of quality does Ghost Armor have, for instance how long will the carbon fiber last until the sticker starts pulling along the edges?

I know several have said the black and white seems to clash, but i think if you had a clear rubberized case to go with this it'd look really nice - I currently have a clear case and might actually now consider it.

Thanks for posting!

I picked up this case on Amazon [Seidio BD4-HKR4SSEPT CONVERT Combo for Samsung Epic 4G Touch] (no link posting so can't show pic, but it's on Amazon). It may be a bit bulky but it adds some weight and substance to the phone. I want to protect my stuff and this case will do just that. The clip hold the phone securely without any worries of it falling out. Highly recommend this case.

Has anyone tried the white carbon fiber one? It looks really sexy, I think I'm going to pick one up just to try something new.

Edit: just ordered it, will post pictures/review when I get it.

Sent from my Blu Kuban'd Galaxy S II.

I have the gunmetal, it looks and fits great. I was afraid the white would get dirty, but I hope it works out for you.

I had them replace the black carbon fibre with the matte sidesand standard clear for the battery door.

They tried talking me into going with the silver/grey carbon fibre back and sides. Told them I didn't like how slippery the black CF was, he said the grey is different so I felt it and what do you know, it has that rubber feel to it. The black CF was very slipper and no rubbery feel, when I originally had it done I was deciding between the black and grey but decided to try the black. Wish I had chosen the grey, it may have looked better and def feel bettery.

Oh well, for now I am on clear for the battery door and matte for the sides, I think it looks good. Only probem is I think the side will get messed up and start coming off after a short while, they are hard to stay on unline the screen and battery door.

Be sure to post back up when you get it in. I saw a couple ideas on here that I like and i would definitely like to see how that looks on the phone.
