It's super easy to use 20gb a month when you have 4g, stream a few highdef videos and bam it's all over.

Agree totally, and if you use only 3g all month you'll use half the amount of data or more. 4 times the speed means watching more or surfing more in a fraction of the time. It's not abuse if your "just" using what you've been given.

Default Unlimited = Unlimited

Heres the part thats maddening. Theres always an argument about teathering, blah blah blah. But what about the people that use huge or "excessive" amounts of data in legitimate ways? I have the grandfathered unlimited data plan on my thunderbolt, and at work i have 4 breaks lasting a half hour each. Just enough time to watch a nice lengthy netflix movie (on my cellphone mind you). And roughly 4 movies a week if im not streaming music, surfing the net, facebooking, or txting just my line alone uses 15-20 gigsa month minimum. All with out tethering, and wifi on at home. I guess im just going to keep on scratching my head and say Verizon, I pay you for legitimate unlimited use of my cell phone, i expect legitimate unlimited use of my cellphone.

Ok I wish everyone would just stop blaming the <2% of users for Verizon changing their plans. I am unlimited user but only use about 2 GBs of data a month, I am on WiFi at home by choice its just as fast as 4G but I get better battery life, I work in a hospital so WiFi is only way to go at work due to poor signal. There is a very small percent of people who use over 10 GBs of data yet have unlimited data. I would consider if you have unlimited and use under 10 GBs you are a very light user. Now for the people who use over 10 GBs even if they use up to 150 GBs who cares????? You pay for unlimited right? How would you like Verizon to call you and say you had 10,000 text this month we are taking your unlimited text away, or you are using to much unlimited mobile to mobile minutes. They want to attach unlimited to the front of a word and not expect a small percent of users to not test out unlimited like a fat person would an all u can eat buffet. Now grow up and just deal with the change in plans, I plan to buy my phones from Google play store at end of year new nexus devices, can't wait to see them. I won't give up my unlimited data anytime soon.

Meanwhile at Verizon

Verizon on Friday reported revenue of US$27.9 billion for the third quarter, up 5.4 percent from the third quarter of 2010. Net income was $3.5 billion, up from $2.7 billion a year earlier. Adjusted earnings per share were $0.56, beating analyst expectations of $0.55.

Revenue for Verizon Wireless was $17.7 billion for the quarter, up from $16.3 billion, or by 9.1 percent, in the third quarter of 2010. Mobile data revenue was $6.1 billion, up 20.5 percent from the year earlier.

Verizon Wireless added 1.3 million connections during the quarter, bringing the company's total number of mobile customers to 107.7 million.

And However we want to use OUR UNLIMITED data is up to US. So, when you drive your car you never speed? I mean just b/c a car can go over the speed limit doesn't mean you are supposed to be doing it by that logic.

What happened was Verizon realized that once people loved and depended on their phones data that they could do this and get richer.

Seriously.. WTF good are HiDef video on the TB with a 4.3" screen?

In landscape mode... You have a whooping 480 lines of resolution, that is LESS than std. Def. Tv

I was going to say that too. Who watches high def on a phone? Even if it had the resolution to play it at high def, human eyes wouldn't be able to see a difference on a 4-inch screen.

I take it you never watch a YouTube video in hd or anything. Else on your phone You must be a Facebook junky that will only watch tv when you get home, Go blueray! And if your on a 4inch screen must be a iPhone lol

You guys are talking about HD right now, it's the future that is the problem. That's why Verizon is killing unlimited now, before HD is the norm.
