This is only for Karbonn A9 (K-touch W680) and Spice MI-425.Do not use on any other device,You will certainly brick it.
Requirements:

1)You will need fastboot drivers,if you are running windows 7,then it will install automatically. (No need of working ADB)

2)Download this Rooting kit:
http://www.multiupload.nl/4HJ2659ACK

3)Extract the contents to a folder.

Instructions for using the kit:
Warning:this will overwrite your recovery,so there's no way to get stock recovery back.
So use this method on one device,root it and dump rooted system.img and from then the rest of the devices should use rooted system.img and hence dump the stock recovery.

1)Boot your phone in fastboot mode by holding vol up + power on boot till you see a green screen.
2)connect your phone to pc via USB cable and wait for fastboot drivers to install.
3)Double click and run ROOT.bat
4)Your phone will reboot after the process completes.
5)Now turn off and reboot the phone into recovery mode by holding VOl up + power button (first you will see green screen then after some time red screen.
6)When you see the red screen,then press home (first soft touch button on A9).You will see a faded black screen.
7)Congratulations! Your phone is rooted.wait You can reboot,if you just wanted the rooting,otherwise:
8)Connect the phone to computer and install the provided drivers for new devices in device manager.
9)This will enable you to use Rooted SU ADB shell while in recovery.
10)Reboot and your device is rooted.

Unfortunately,I am unable to flash my system... it always gives

Flash:write failure
in fastboot.

the package contains every stock file of this phone including stock recovery and stock update.zip which can be used to Unroot.

I have also visited Karbonn service center,they are unable to flash it,And wont help me further as they say my phone is UTL imported and it should be sent to chennai for repair and I am in himachal.

my last hope is a CWM recovery,if varun compiles it using stock recovery,waiting for it.

That sounds real bad, but they have a nice service repair option in Delhi, I have even talked to the main service personnel over there. Just inquire again and if it goes to Delhi, you might have it back in say 3-4 days.

actually the service center here has talked to delhi service center and they say that my phone is UTL imported so it has to be sent to chennai as there system is not verifying its imei in their database...

Good news for you guys is I have the unrooting tutorial on first page,2nd post !

it should be a good news for all who are afraid to root, you can also append it to op:

1. Root with your procedure
2. Check if you have su etc. in your system.
3. Reflash with the clean recovery.

This way you always will have a functional recovery to wipe cache, data etc. till we have a better option.
