Does AOKP ICS work with this GSM hack? I saw a WCDMA option in the settings area, so just curious.

And of what I saw, OTA is safe to accept with the hack right? I'm worried I might brick.

If the battery manager is showing that rild is eating up the battery, try reseating the SD card. Read that on another forum and it seemed to help.

I'm unable to write in nv item using radiocom. When I press the read button the text above is shown in red background and I still have green circle at the right. Also, there is no hex data and its blank near the read button. Can anybody help y such an issue?

I have two bionics.
One of them works in GSM mode "out of box", both voice and data.
But the other one does not work with the very same SIM, it peeks up the signal and drops it in a few minutes.
Both phones have same SW version - sbf-ed .902, same radio unlock procedure.
So, I guess bionics have at least a couple of hardware revisions or Verizon did make a change to NV-items (or other memory, that is not touched by sbf), like it did for Droid 2 Global with changing SIM inlock code.

Regrading the HW revision - info screens in DFS and exesstel programs look identical.

So, I can confirm we have "deferent" bionics and it does not depend on SIM card for me.

This problem is always a driver issue and is generally solved by reloading the latest Motorola USB driver set and/or restarting both PC and phone.

The way to check easily if you can read the NVM is to use the Software Version or MEID/ESN/IMEI buttons. If they work then the NV read/write functions will work.

you don't need radiocomm, flash the radio unlock zip file through recovery
