Have you fixed the black flicker when rotating? I have been running AOKP build 38 on this a500 and its simply amazing, except GPS doesn't work at all for me, and has a black flicker when rotating just like this rom... figured I may switch back to this.

not yet, been looking into it. trust me, it bothers me too.

EDIT: and the reason for AOKP having the same issues is they are based directly off of our work, they Kang'd our repos a few days before the cm merge. i wouldn't be surprised if they are keeping up with everything we push. that's their thing i guess.

That sucks if that's true and they don't give some credit where its due, my main reason why I like kang is because all the extra features are in one area, rom control, and they have some amazing features, I can customize literally just about everything.. I notice with each build they release they have all the same features as there other roms for other devices, you think they just took the main backbone, or framework of your work, and just added there extra features?

I notice they don't post there rom here, though back in the day when protekk did it got deleted because they used thors kernel, but now a days they don't.. found it odd they don't post here like they do for the rest of there devices, either way, I tried this rom in the earlier stage and it was amazing, amazing work you guys do, I think when you guys get it out of beta stage I'll be trying this again.

Its called Android Open Kang Project for a reason. Its based on aosp just as any cm9 build is, with their own stuff mixed in. Call it a series of custom aosp roms if you want. They also don't support nearly as many devices, even the a100 isn't supported even though its almost the same as a500 and they do builds for that.

Is anyone else getting SOD issues? If I leave my tablet asleep for more than a few minutes I have to cold boot it again. It was there in the stock ICS update, so it could just be me. Does anyone have a good work around other than a very long screen timeout and 'never sleep when charging'?
Do the devs know what's causing this or is it gremlins? Is there a log I can post that'll help?

I've only had SoD once on rooted stock ICS first leak when I flashed wrong boot.img (for HC bootloader) as I'm using Skrillax_CZ's bootloaders since the first version came out.

Since then I've had no SoDs at all and I was using stock rooted ICS and now current CM9 nightly.

So probably just me then. It struck me as a little odd that acer would release a ROM with SoD. I definitely switched to the scrillax bootloader when I made the jump to CM9. I'll see if a /system and /data wipe does for me when the next alpha comes out
