my phone cid is vodap021, it is vodafone australia
there have no ruu for vodafone australia, just voda-hutch.
but I remember the number is 862 when I bought the phone in vodafone store. and I found the voda-hutch is 862 too. but the cid is different.
so can I use voda-hutch ruu to flash my phone?

Default TIM-Italy TIM__401

Hi vladnosferatu, my HOX has TIM-Italy TIM__401 CID and i'm trying to do the steps in the post to come back to the stock RUU

(RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_HTC_Europe_1.29.401.11_Radi o_1.1204.105.14_release_260491_signed). I made all steps right, but when finally i try to install RUU (with bootloader relocked and stock recovery) the installation tells: impossible to install on your device" or something like that.
Can you help me, please?

Sorry for my English.

OUT Qualcuno può dirmi la versione di ROM del suo HTC ONE X marcato TIM?

If you can read chinese, google for PJ46IMG_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_hTC_Asia_TW_1.29.709.12

I think they say something about RUU already out.

Am I about to brick it?

I attempted to unroot and bring back to stock in order to return it back for refund. Here's what I did:

1) In bootloader: fastboot erase cache
2) fastboot getvar version-main
version-main: 1.28.707.10
(Strange as I had 1.29 installed)
3) I flashed the stock recovery (recovery-1-29-401-7.img) in order to get rid of CWM
4) fastboot oem lock
...
(bootloader) Lock successfully...
FAILED (status read failed (Too many links))
finished. total time: 0.125s

Here, my screen was showing ***Relocked***, ***Security Warning***

Is that security warning normal?

5) I ran the RUU (RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_HTC_Europe_1.29.401.7_Radio _1.1204.104.14_release_259281_signed)

It started, I see "Sending" and warning that it could take up to 10 minutes but it's now 30 minutes and still on HTC Logo and PC shows the same window without any progress.

What have I done wrong and what do I do now? If I stop it, I will brick it, so what?

I disconneceted it because it wouldn't ever end.

I goes only in bootloader and sometimes if I reboot within the bootloader the *** Security Warning *** disappears but if I reboot again it comes back.

I start the RUU again but it always ends unsuccesfully with message to use the correct client software.

It detects current image 1.28.707.10 and it will update to 1.29.401.7.

So now I'm bricked, I should have returned it today as in 2-3 days, my grace period for return and refund ends. Is there anything else I could try?

I should also be quick because my battery is running does and from what I've heard, you can't charge it without ROM.

I think I know why. My current "Internal id" is 1.28.707.10. 707 I think is for Asia and I'm trying to flash Europe RUU. My phone came from UK but from HK company (Simply Electronics), I don't know what they did and I don't know why this version is inside since I upgraded to 1.29.

Also, too bad that I can't download RUUs. Since yesterday I'm trying to download and all slots are full from here (http://www.filefactory.com/f/7cc7b2fbdd03c031/)

Is there a mirror somewhere?
