Can you help me root my V10a LG Optimus LTE from telus

Hi guys, I need to root my optimus lte on telus with v10a rom version. Superoneclick doesnt seem to work. Can you help me? Also is there a way to install CM9 without root? Thanks

you need root to install CM9.

Thanks for the quick response, I did look at that thread however I am hesitant to do the unbrick method. Is there any manual method/other way I can do it?

nope. You have to flash a new KDZ file alltogether because the Telus one is unrootable.

Once you get your head around the 'unbricking method', there is really nothing to it.

or you can wait till Telus releases the next update, and hope that it is rootable.

Sorry to be a hassle but could you give me a noob type rundown on how to do this
