It's good to know, i'm a flash junkie like many of us here at XDA.
Extremely useful tool!

And if i get it right, this ROM sets BB and ril 20s, no matter what was on before. Right?

Yes, usually NV has been used if you need service and get rid of all traces, now there came a rom. All included and all will be wiped. You will sd partition though I tried it on my broken screen phone, it flashed very fast

Fast indeed!
What do you mean by "You will sd partition though"?
By the way, i tried it with Spica's (otherwise amazing) HP kernel, but it turned out that OC's not needed at all. Quick enough with original kernel and even more battery friendly!

You will sd, he he , swiftkey you know, typing to fast, ment to be that your sd wont be wiped, oc aren't needed for normal use. IMO prefer aroma installation but NV flash for sure clean the installation partition

Yeah, i'm tying not to sd ha ha!

You see, Aroma seems to me a great user frindly way to install, but still it never works out for me. Looks like everybody is highly satisfied with i.e. Django M. ROM installed with Aroma. I tried at least 15 times different combos and just none worked. Actually one of those bricked my phone, which case could have never been solved without this great NV ROM!

I might be doing something wrong or am i just unlucky?

Devices:
Samsung GSII - P.A.C. ROM
Kernel: latest Dorimanx
Secondary ROM - a constant experiment
LG Optimus 2X - Topogigi's ROMs

NVFlash is to recover from a brick. Well, well
Before flashing a ROM you have to know what type of file system uses the current ROM and which is going to Flash.

If the ROM that has your phone is CyanogeMod, probably the file system is Ext4, so before flashing you have to format to Ext3.

It is very easy:

TUTO NVFlash
1.- Remove battery
2.- Press and hold Vol- and Vol+ and without releasing the 2 keys connect the USB cable to the PC
2a.-Windows should detect a new device APK, cancel the installation and install the driver which includes the ROM.
2b.- on Linux not ago missing driver.
3.- Browse to the folder where you unzipped the RAR and typing CMD in the breadcrumb bar, Linux opens the console.
4.- Type:
-- Windows flash.bat
-- Linux ./Flash
