Last time I use GR for some reason brick mi phone. After that I used heimdall one click and restore my phone back with boot loops. Then I use Odin with stock Kj6 2.3.6 and restored my phone with boot loops.
Last thing I did was to Odin PDA KD1 and then restored my phone without problems. I will try GR again cause I want to see if is good enough to restore a phone. Other reason is because I don't like heimdall. Maybe I have to mess with it a little more lol...
For now I'll stay on Cm7 waiting to get better. Everything is working fine. sound and camara are very laggy for me. Other thing is the battery life but everyting else is wonderfull !!!! :thumbup:

Anyone else having issues installing downloaded apps? Because I do and I can't press the install button. I can press the cancel one though. Any ideas?

I have a question regarding the camera camcorder.
How was it fixed? How can I make it work on other MTD ROMs such as MIUI? 10x!

When powering off the phone and then attempting to turn it back on while plugged in the phone will not power on.

It will act as if its going to power on but the phone will start offline charging again.

Its being addressed. bhundven is waiting for max to return to civilization and find out all the reasons for changing the camera.

However there is a workaround and that is to use regular r11 and if you want twrp just check inject twrp and you should be ok. However there is something not working I think with r11. Check the dev thread, I think it was discussed within the last four pages.

I've encountered another issue that's been plaguing me. I've recently went back to stock to fix weird random vibrations etc (Gremlin Remover etc) and re flashed and so on.
However, my battery is doing strange things. I've charged it to 100% and the phone will just shut off ( It just did it with 60% remaining ) and when I power back on my battery level is at 1%. This is the second time it has done this. Now after powering back on..the battery level went from 1% to 4% while the phone was on. So I turned it off..removed the battery, rebooted and now it's at 40%.

Any suggestions, ideas, fixes?


EDIT: Fixed. After a week of painful, annoying shut offs when using random apps. I decided it was the battery. Went back to stock with the same problem as well as my battery seemed a little "fat". So I replaced the battery and ended that issue.

Mine does the same thing but only with the stock battery. However I'm now using a 3500 maH battery
