Leaving for GS3.

I'm leaving the Photon for the GS3. While the time with this phone wass awesome. I have never really enjoyed it. Never did a phone need so much tweaking to it's software. Hardware is where this phone really shined. I doubt my Samsung will have the signal strength but some sacrifices must be made. To keep it short I want to say that it was fun being a part of this community. Thanks and I will see you guys around.

Interesting cause most people agree that even at stock the photon is beast. But oh well, different strokes i suppose. Take it easy!

I dont want to leave butt I hedge to get verizon.... there is no force roam app for a us cellular electrify...... I love my rebadged photon even without unlocked bootloader....

I know this shabby... and it sucks but I can't get on a plan cuz I have no credit and not alot of money.... or id be getting a droid bionic or droid razr on verizon paying 119 a month... so instead in going straight talk today with Samsung galaxy proclaim..... I know I'm going to regret this but I have no other option. I need signal

What tweaking does it need??

It's so tiring when people make general comments like this (about any phone) without providing any facts or examples. Might as well just not say anything.

The grass is always greener .....

At least it's tweaking able. I had Galaxy Nexus one month, it was nice phone, with nice ICS, nice notification led and vibrations, probably a little faster, but very bad loudspeaker comparing to our phone, the display was somehow... different, bluetooth sound was delayed. Every rom or kernel or radio, including official, caused at least one automatic reboot per day or two. So I decided, it's not worth the price and returned to Photon. Photon is not perfect, but better than GN for me. Maybe GS3 will be better for you, don't know much about it.

I hate the Samsung illusion / galaxy proclaim. anyone wanna buy it on straight talk with a 45 unlimited card?

Can you all move Samsung talk to a Samsung thread? In this case, sounds like this needs to move to a "For Sale" thread.

honestly, unless your a pillar to the photon community just leave quietly and enjoy your new phone.
