Default Okay this is a headache

Here's a strange one guys and gals.
So I'm a former D2G user; (started with the og D2). I have a Rezound now but I want to play with cm9 and aokp on my D2G. The kicker is, I sbf'ed my phone to 2.6.32.9, which isn't even the most recent froyo update let alone gingerbread. Long story short, I can't update the phone unless its activated. Can I run a gb sbf and do sort of a forwards sbf?

If you don't know how to bypass the activation screen, just touch the corners in a clockwise fashion starting with top left.

I know how to bypass the lockscreen, but system update is greyed out. I'm on the first version of froyo that this phone shipped with. System version is is 2.4.29 and kernel version is 2.6.32.9 as I stated earlier.

I don't think there should be a problem doing a GB SBF. Going forward usually isn't an issue (for example, carrier unlock users do that, taking care to preserve the .330 radio).

Since you have a choice, I would go with 4.5.608, where you can easily root and SBF back if needed.

Okay, thanks. Could someone post a link to a working mirror?
