Is it true ? It cannot setup automatically,
Second i cannot check account by *101#, do you know how method to fix???
You deleted (or renamed) "SprintOMADMConnMOPlugin.apk" and "SprintOMADMConnMoPlugin.odex" surely.

1/3G Mobiphone:
- You must save configuration automatically from Mobiphone Carrier
(DK GPRS ==> 994)
You can change: system/etc/ppp/peers/pppd-ril.options (as text) to include username and password of your APN. Sometimes i use 3g/gprs Vinaphone and don't have any problem.

2/USSD code running:
XPRT is the GSM+CDMA phone, so you can't press *101# to check balance. Just call 900. I don't know the way to fix it

Default Boost mobile Xprt - HotSpot disabled

I recently purchased a Boost Mobile Xprt...it's a reboxed Sprint phone with a Boost flash...the one major difference is that the HotSpot feature is disabled. I've tried various options including FoxFi, Quick Settings, Barnacle, Easy Tether, PDANet and a couple of others trying to get the HotSpot to work and/or get a wireless tether going, so far without success. Any and all ideas to regain this functionality would be appreciated. Thanks.

thanks in advance!

Were you able to find anything good to put on? I am hopeful that a stock GB will be out soon, but I'm sick of waiting. What instructions did you use to root and install bootstrapper? I wasn't sure if you used the June 2011 instructions or if anything was updated.

Thanks.

-Rao.
I just got my Xprts! I got them off ebay. I have a couple questions... did you take out the preinstalled sim? I tried to turn my on the first time without the preinstalled sim and it did not work... it kept looping.

This is what I did
1. So I turned it on with the preinstalled sim... let it search for the network and when it gave up went through setup.
2. Once I finished this step, I went to Wireless and Networks, and did the proper adjustments for GSM.
3. I proceeded to activate airplane mode and turn the device off.
4. I slipped in my GSM carriers sim and turned it on.
5. Deactivated airplane mode.
6. Rooted using super one click...
7. titanium backup...
8. moved, using root explorer anything that said Sprint to my sd card, and DONE!

Now I have a perfectly functioning GSM phone that does not look for Sprint everytime its turned on. So happy!! Its a nice secondary phone!

Next root and uninstall everything named "sprint", you'll have a perfectly working gsm phone.

Thanks that worked for me!!!!

Would someone be so kind as to do a sticky post of steps for newbs like me to follow and get up to speed. Thanks in advance.

1FF-p3_kronos_cdma_kronos-user-2.2.2-KRNS-X4-1.1.10-110916-release-keys-Sprint-US.sbf

It works great as I tested it at his shop to recover a dead phone somebody traded me. The key is this guy makes part of his living selling files.
He is not out of line at all compared to most who do that, but the price is $200.
I was figuring that we should be able to get enough of us together to put in some portion of the price to make this happen, and get all of us the file (finally!!). It is certainly a cheaper than paying for a phone repair or leaving it around as a high priced high tech paper weight.
Please pass this info along to whomever you think might also be interested in getting involved. Please contact me via PM and I will send you my contact info if you wish to discuss this further.

I am thinking people need the original file. I really am sort of itching to get this phone on this "special" Virgin Mobile plan from Assurance Wireless (mainly b/c those customer service reps made me crazy!

Bottom line is Virgin Mobile has this special low cost:

Unlimited Voice, Unlimited Text and Unlimited Data
For Only $30 (if you are a "low income" whatever....

The catch is you got buy one of their absolutely useless phones. When you find one that maybe you can "barely tolerate" based on reviews for their Pay Lo phones then every where you try to buy it, ... guess what..... they don't have it.

Of course there is their website, but who wants to wait while while its being mailed?

So the phone originally was a sprint phone.. when I bought it at the store the guy said "it was not on the system" and had to scan another "un-opened" one from his inventory.....

So I am thinking this is a brand new one from China, maybe even with updated software...?

If you guys catch me up to speed maybe I can load this software some for every XRPT fan...

Its a sprint XPRT in a sealed boost box and I want use a $1.79 unlock code (i dont know if it is even locked)....

So I can pay $30/mo instead of $55/month... and of course I want all the features.

They are all on the sprint platform anyway... right?

Virgin Mobile (low end) Boost (medium) Sprint (high end)

Man that guy at Sprint is a true marketing genius!

You have just endured your first Newbie rant... from me... yet I think you guys need my "un-messed up" original files...

Am i right?

I am wondering where this crazy story ends:

The phone i got was a brand new phone it looked like a brand new boost mobile box, but it was a sleeve around a brand new sprint box. I see these different serial numbers on the boxes outside:

1) Says scan for activation... ( and he wanted to activate this puppy) ..yet I had and still have other ideas (just so I can pay $30/month virgin mobile (assurance wireless- unlimited voice, text and data (perfect for this phone)...

The guy at the store said (when he tried to scan it on the cash register)...

Quote:
Its not on the system....

Of course I am thinking thats a good thing ...

The %&*$& at Virgin Mobile have done this to me!

By issuing some cheap plan that none of their phones could truly utilize.... yet who knows if my plan will work!!!

EDIT: Never mind. I got the logwrapper. As for my experiment, I'm testing it now. Will upload if it succeeds.

Default Sim guard?

Anyone know how to remove sim guard when sending message?
