Did you make sure to calibrate your battery at 3% and charge it to 54%?

I'm more of a lurker, but definitely wanted to post in this thread to confirm my positive experience with this kernel.

I've been running the RC's of version 0.1.5 on AOKP ICS Build 37 and have been impressed at how much more stable the phone is, as opposed to with the stock kernel. I certainly don't mean to knock the previous keepers of the AOKP Supersonic ROMs at all, but the builds simply don't seem to have been optimized for our phone. Having said that, the Mason kernel doesn't make the AOKP ICS build perfect, but I'm now getting soft reboots only rarely, no hard reboots, and by far the best battery life I've experienced on this phone.

Just wanted to share my experience. If one is looking around at third party kernels to try, this is definitely a great option.

Does the .014 Mason sbc fso kernel for gingerbread support hard swap/ swap partitioning? I've been trying to use a swap partition as extra RAM but the script will not activate. By the way this is my favorite Evo 4G Kernel. 0 random reboots & I've been using the kernel for over a month.

Dunno. I just run 1.5 rc4 non fso with deck's reloaded and let more knowledgeable people do the thinking for me.

Btw a swap will be crushingly slow. The Rom has compcache as well.

Default HDMI Mirroring Killing Wifi

Basics first:
ROM: Deck's Reloaded
Kernel: G - v0.14 sbc
Governor: SAVAGEDZEN

Okay, so when I use HDMwIn, it's supposed to allow for Netflix and such on a TV, correct? Not if the wifi stops working. The thing is, it only stops working when it's actually mirroring. The cable sometimes doesn't connect the signal (black screen), and then the wi-fi works. I can also take out the cable and the connection goes through.

Attached is a catlog. What I did was: start recording, plug in the cable, open HDMwIn and start mirroring, open Dolphin Browser, try to load a page, the wifi actually turned off on it's own. I then tried to turn it on to no avail, unplugged the hdmi cable (all while mirroring), and wifi turned back on. I then loaded a page, stopped mirroring (cable still out) and stopped the log.

I'm running CyanogenMod 7.2 and it's blazing fast along with Mason .14 sbc fso kernel and I'm also using the V6 Supercharger script. I have plenty of RAM to play with so it's really not about speed. I just like testing new things out on my old Evo 4G. The hard swap partitioning script is over on the HTC Sensation thread & the developer & I are just trying to get the script to work for the Evo 4G. I really don't need it but it's nice to learn new things and test them out in the spirit of open source.
