I just recieved my Rezound yesterday and activated the 4g sim card over the phone following the directions that came with it. There was something I had to agree to by saying yes but didn't really pay attention to what it was. I'm almost certain that it said by activating the card I was agreeing to the terms and conditions of my new 2 year contract. That would make sense since I had not signed one in person.

Mine was activated under my same contract as I did not buy it from Verizon, which is why I am thinking that whatever I signed was regarding the switch from a 3g to 4g unlimited plan.

I called verizon customer service today and was told that unless I use my upgrade ,which renews the 2 year contract, then I can swap any phone I like even if it is from 3G to 4G and my unlimited data will not be affected.

My only dilemma now is which phone to buy before the 28th. I'm thinking of getting the 64GB iphone since it holds it value very well. Make more money down the road when I sell it.

So now the release date is set at July5. My question is do all new Verizon phone have a pre order day? I know most high end phones do. But since the Increible is listed as a mid level phone, I am not sure if this one will. And any chance that day would be before a Thursday?

So if I understand correctly, if one wishes to keep their unlimited and also get the inc4g (or any phone that won't be released til next month), they should just goto bestbuy and purchase a 3g/4g phone now then exchange it next month.

I've been waiting so long for this phone, I keep forgetting it isnt really THAT great. The main reason I want it is because of its size and that its HTC. Otherwise I'd prob get a SGIII. Maybe I'll goto best buy and pick up a Galaxy Nexus to try out for a month. Then exchange it for a SGIII or Inc4g. Assuming Best Buy will carry either of those in a month.
Using Droid Inc

At this point it almost looks like the inc2 will get ICS before the inc4gLTE hits lol.

I guess that's the cover for the Inc 4g? But it really doesn't matter if it's July 29th or Jul 5th, or Dec 2014. Their ultimate goal is do away with unlimited data, and unless you are willing to pay full off contract price for a new phone, I just don't really see how any of us are going to get around this.

I normally like to see a phone come out for a month or two and then see how the users like it, but this one, I was willing to race in before the 28th and just buy the darn thing to get it and keep unlimited intact.

I honestly feel now if it's past the 28th, which I know it will be, then there is no longer a panic, I'll use my unlimited currently see how folks shake out and the phone itself, then get screwed into the shared plan a month or two down the road, I guess.
