HTC Touch Diamond2 After Update Rom hang only Logo

i just update rom Photon ROM 6.5 Standard Edition

now it hang only logo touch diamind 2.

how to do next?

Remove SD Card, if any, and do a Hard Reset and see if that help.

my phone Topa100 before update phone work well but i need change china language to english.

after update phone hang with logo touch diamond2

i try hard reset but not work for me.

Topa100: Looks like your device is NOT HTC Diamond2 or Topaz (Check WiKi - Check Model Numbers at Intro section)? If SO, you may have to try different ROM, as Photon ROM is for Topaz/HTC Diamond2 devices ONLY.

Dear prabhat,

Can you help see my case?

I flash a Diamond2 with official WM 6.1 ROM, after finish the phone stack on the tri-color screen, showing "Turbo SW/HW not match!". can any help help to save the Diamond2? Thank you.

Rom: 1.40.832.2
Radio: 3.44.25.27

Some member teacher me try to reflash TopazSPLRelocker SPL133 first, but when I reflash "TopazSPLRelocker SPL133", the phone can change from tricolor screen to progress bar but the phone stuck at 0%, than after several minutes PC prompt [ERROR 262]. I follow the program to recovery the connection but still the same.

• Also I appear same problem which stuck at 0% when flash any cooked rom, e.g. Photon ROM 6.5 and TiGeR Light Ver 1.
  
• I also try flashing by using Storage Card by rename the cooked rom (.nbh) file to TOPAIMG.nbh, the result is same stuck on 0%.
  
• I also try Advanced ROM Update Utility for TOUCH DIAMOND2/TOPAZ by Barin and "CustomRUU.exe" but still stuck at 0% and [ERROR 262], but it is success using official update exe (RUU_Topaz_HKCSL_CHT_1.40.832.2_Radio_Sign_Topaz_6 1.25t.25.19_3.44.25.27_Ship.exe).

Hi,

Looks like your device is locked for official rom till now so you are not able to install any custom ROM and it fails. As you did before, please do HARD-SPL again with step by step given in the same thread.

Make Sure you have Internet access on PC
Disable AV software if any
Connect the device to PC - ActiveSync/WMDC
Follow the "Instructions" in the thread. (Use Topaz-HardSPL_V5_09R6_CRT_183HSPL.zip)
PC may install some driver on first reboot of your device.
It should finish the task on your device and it should be ready.

3. PC installed driver on when first reboot the device.
4. Reboot PC before HSPL.
5. I use Topaz-HardSPL_V5_09R6_CRT_183HSPL.zip
6. I disable antivirus and windows firewall.
7. On the white part of tricolor screen it show "USB".


First I try automatic flash but show the following error:


I cannot not install the enablerapinew.cab because I cannot boot into WM.


Then I try Manual Flash, but also fail, the phone stuck at 0% and PC show ERROR [262], I followed the recovery procedure and try again it also fail the do HSPL.

try to reflash via SD-Card ! rename RUU_Signed.nbh file to TOPAIMG.NBH and put the file on the SD card

But probably not success because It is fail to use sd card to flash cook rom or radio. The phone always stuck at "Loading..." screen.

By the way, which "RUU_Signed.nbh" should I use? The Hard SPL is an exe. Thank you.
