I've always gone naked with my phones then when i dropped my OG evo and cracked the screen for the second time I decided i would get a case for this beauty. I now rock the diztronic matte black tpu case and couldn't be happier. Its like being half naked

Lol half naked.. well put! That's how I feel with that case too, still sleek, sexy and light - but with a little protection.

I plan on keeping this phone until my two year contract is up. with that being said a case is a must for me. The extra sleekness and feel of a naked phone just isnt worth the risk in my opinion. It only takes one mistake...

NAKED!

It's my 3rd Evo. All have been naked. The only damage comes from when I pass my old one down to my wife. She usually drops them within a week and does damage.

Currently have a front bezel on order for my 3D (which she has now). I had it for a year with no damage. She had it for a week.

I bought an OtterBox Commuter when I bought my Evo 4G two years ago. I figured if I'm going to spend $300 on a phone, what's another $35 for peace of mind? I eventually grew tired of the bottom flap on that case and stopped using it to access the battery. I broke that phone by throwing it at a wall last October and received an Evo 3D as a replacement. That phone seemed a lot sturdier to me, so I didn't bother getting a case.

This phone, however, is so thin that I just feel like I need a case. I ordered a black Commuter since I felt the Defender was too bulky and I didn't want a pink Commuter. After having my phone naked for about two weeks and covered for the last week, I love my OtterBox. Neither flap is as big as the one for the Evo 4G so this case just feels so much better overall. It doesn't add much girth, but it's fairly noticeable if you have smaller hands like I do. I figure I'll get used to the case with time. And since I don't have to worry about accessing the battery, I shouldn't have to worry about wanting to shed this case. I guess if I ever decide to pull out the SD card, I will have to remove the case, but I never pulled out the SD card from my last two Evos so I don't anticipate having to with this one.

I put on the skinomi full body, which I love for when I want "naked" and I have various Cruzerlite cases in different colors and the Diztronic matte black for when I'm out. Love both brands of cases.

Sporting an Otterbox Defender case as I did on my EVO 3D. Dropped my 3D in a lake once and no harm was done!

I always cover my phones with BodyGuardz full body protector and I use a side belt clip case. The two of those combined keep my phones flawless for resale and they normally sell in 24 hrs on eBay. Sold my 7 month old Motorola Photon with extra batteries for $225 in 1 day a few weeks ago.

This phone is too slippery to not have a case. Unfortunately. But I picked up the Diztronic tpu case and It's amazing
